Being a sales woman can be an interesting job, you meet a lot of different kinds of people and some will share just about anything with you about their life. Being in sales also has its ups and down, you can have the perfect hostess, she follows the hostess handbook word for word and then when it gets party time the guests dont follow the handbook. I had a great hostess for my party on Saturday, she did everything and more, the guests came late or didn't even show and discouraged my hostess. She kept trying to apologize and I kept trying to reinforce that she didn't do anything wrong, we had a great party, we made some sales and all is good. So maybe the next time you agree to attend that direct sales party, put yourself in the hostess shoes and think about how much she is counting on you attending.
